# Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect anonymous usage analytics, performance metrics, and — only if you turn them on — push notifications. Nothing is used to build an ad profile or sold. Your bookmarks, notes and reading position stay in your browser until you choose to sync, and you can switch analytics off in Settings.

## 1\. What we collect

To keep easyquran running and to improve it, we collect limited data through Firebase: anonymous usage analytics (which features get used), crash reports, and performance metrics. We also assign your device an identifier so we can deliver push notifications to it. This is never used to build an advertising profile or sold to anyone.

## 2\. Accounts and sync

Reading needs no account. If you choose to create one, your bookmarks, notes and deeds are linked to it so they sync across your devices and the native apps. You can delete your account and its data at any time.

## 3\. What stays on your device

Until you sign in, bookmarks, notes and your reading position are stored in your browser's local storage. They leave your device only if you turn on sync.

## 4\. Hosting and delivery

Our host and content delivery network record short-lived, standard logs (approximate region, browser type, requested file) to keep the service running and to detect abuse. Requesting recitation audio includes your IP address, as any web request does.

## 5\. Push notifications

If you enable notifications, we store a device identifier so messages reach the right device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device or browser settings.

## 6\. Children

The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described here.

## 7\. Your choices

You can use easyquran without an account, decline notifications, and — if you have one — delete your account and its synced data. Clearing your browser data removes anything stored locally.

## 8\. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and note what changed. Substantive changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
